Role: UX Strategist
Team: 4 colleagues
Timeline: 7 weeks
Tools: Figma, Powerpoint
Approach
During the 7 weeks of project timeline, there are four main phases: content audit, comparative analysis, UX research and content strategy planning phases.
In content audit phase, we first analyzed the current situation of CNS by auditing all content on it's website. Our report shows that CNS tended to have text of wall in their pages, which may potentially decrease the legibility.
In comparative analysis phase, I have accomplished a marketing research which compares CNS with other existing competitors in the market. We focused not only on the digital strategy part such as SEO score and keywords, but also reviewed what kind of service that other competitors are offering. Here is the comparative analysis table:
In the prototype designing phase, our strategy is to decrease the fiction of users' decison making process and enhance the smoothness of user journey. We also decided to redesign the content flow of the website. On top of that, we also decided to implement an interactive element in the website so as to increase user's engagement rate.
Reflection
It is a valuable experience to work in a real client in the Canadian environment. Itis important to keep communication with the client to understand what they really want and need, so that we can solve their problem. Communication is also a key when collaborating with a team because you have to make sure the whole team is working toward the same direction and idea.
