Maintaining a healthy diet isn’t always easy. It requires not only accurate food knowledge but also a positive mindset. From my personal experience, this journey can often feel frustrating and demotivating. This led me to ask - how can I build a digital system that helps individuals to mend their food relationship and achieve their dietary goals?

I used agile methodology in the overall 14 weeks. During my UX research phase, I have conducted 5 in-depth interviews and 15 surveys. The result revealed that 73% of them agree that they have problem with mending their food relationship, while 80% are seeking professional help and companionship in their diet journey, and 56% consider meditation would help them to mend their food relationship. Below is the persona and user journey:

3 Main Improvements
Based on the feedback of my 10 potential users, I have refined my design over 2 weeks with 3 major improvements.



While exploring existing competitors, I analyzed 3 popular apps surrounding mindfulness and diet space.I found that none of them had this aspect of combining both meditation and professional dietary service to help users' food journey. This then became my opportunity to solve the problem.

The experience has definitely expanded my horizon. It is my pleasure to take the lead in this project and be responsible for all aspects, which has deepened my understanding of project management and digital product development. In this project, I was able to utilize my problem-solving abilities and refine my graphic design skills. This process has also given me not only a deeper appreciation of the importance of understanding users' needs, but also a chance to communicate with other stake holders including developers and graphic designers. This will definitely help me in my future work and in communicating with different teams.
